Global cereal company Kellogg’s is set to introduce its new Chocolate Frosted Flakes in the US market.
The product will be rolled out next month and will be available at all major retail and grocery stores across the nation.
The company noted that the new cereal recipe was made from scratch to deliver a Kelloggs Frosted Flakes flavour to suit its consumers’ tastes and preferences.
In order to ensure that its new chocolate flavour is in accordance with its consumer expectations, Kelloggs allowed fans to contribute at almost every step of the development process by testing how different cocoas interacted with the cereal flake and the milk left at the bottom of the bowl.
Kelloggs morning food marketing senior director Brad Schwan said: "We stay close to our fans to make sure we are delivering the cereal experiences they want most, which is what resulted in the delicious flavour of Cinnamon Frosted Flakes launched last year.
"The new product will be available for a suggested retail price (SRP) between $4.69 and $5.79."
"So, when we found out chocolate was the next most requested flavour, we set to work right away."
The new product will be available for a suggested retail price (SRP) between $4.69 and $5.79.
