Half of Americans aged 25-34 can’t wait to get out of the kitchen

Across all the age groups, Americans aged 25-34 are more likely to want to spend  as little time in the kitchen as possible, with over half of them agreeing with the statement “ I like spending as little time in the kitchen as possible”, according to a GlobalData survey.

Such an attitude is reflecting their desire to spend time on more fun activities, such as socializing with friends or personal hobbies.  This also means that this consumer group are most likely to opt for convenient foods and drinks that help them minimize time and effort spent on cooking, such as ready meals and pre-treated products such as marinated meat.
