Last week, Renaissance Suzhou Hotel hosted a U.S. beef tasting event for local media and meat distributors at its R Bar and restaurant.
U.S. Consul General Shanghai, Sean Stein, attended the event to support the promotion. Consul General Stein gave brief remarks about U.S. beefs return to the China market and answered questions from local Suzhou media. Consul General Stein also enjoyed a sample of the USDA Prime grade rib-eye steak prepared by Renaissance Suzhou Hotels Executive Chef Galliano Tao.
Guests of the tasting event watched a screening of the second episode of the U.S. Agricultural Trade Offices new short video series "Cooking with U.S. Beef", which features top chefs from eastern China cooking with U.S. beef.
