Two recalls have been issued; one for Jimmy Dean Sausages for foreign material, the other for Meiqili Durian Candy, for undeclared milk. No illnesses or injuries have been reported in either recall.

CTI Foods is recalling about 29,028 pounds of one type of Jimmy Dean frozen, ready-to-eat pork and poultry sausage links because they may be contaminated with foreign materials, more specifically pieces of metal. Five consumer complaints prompted this recall.

The products were produced and Packaged on August 4, 2018. The recalled product is 23.4 ounce pouches of “Jimmy Dean Heat ‘n Serve Original Sausage links Made with Pork & Turkey.” The sausages have a use by date of January 31, 2019 and case code A6382168, with a time stamp range of 11:58 through 01:49. The sausages have the establishment number “EST. 19085” on the back of the packaging. They were shipped to retail outlets in Tennessee.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.

The second recall is for Fine Land Corporation, for Meiqili Durian Candy. The product contains milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled candy was distributed in retail supermarkets in Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia, Virginia, Maryland, and Boston. The candy is packaged in a 12 ounce plastic bag with a clear window. It is labeled as a product of china and has the UPC number 4-897055-795465-0.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose intolerant, do not eat it. You can take it back to the store wher you bought it for a refund.
