Else Nutrition Holdings has signed a production memorandum of understanding (MoU) with an undisclosed organic baby formula producer in the US.

based in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Else Nutrition manufactures plant-based nutrition products for infants, toddler, children and adults.

Else Nutrition Holdings co-founder and CEO Hamutal Yitzhak said: “After a rigorous selection process, we are delighted to enter into this production MOU, as it will allow us to ensure the highest quality and purity standards for Else formula.

“This world-class facility provides for hands-on monitoring of each batch, ensuring increased testing accuracy and the highest quality in finished products. Producing in a facility dedicated to making baby formula has far-reaching implications for quality and cleanliness.

The company plans to launch its plant-based, non-dairy, non-soy toddler formula and children’s nutritional drinks in the US market. It expects to do so by the second quarter of this year.

Yitzhak added: “Having such high-calibre long-term production in the US ensures we can efficiently meet future demand in this key global market while adhering to our strict quality standards.”

In December, Else Nutrition Holdings received favourable results in a regulatory assessment for its toddler formula ingredients.

EAS Consulting Group carried out the assessment. It reviewed the company’s formula to ensure that it meets the standards of the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).
