Japanese food company Yutaka has launched Wasabi Peas for the not so hot British palate.

Made from peas harvested in the UK, theyre coated with spicy wasabi but toned down for Brits who dont always like it hot.

Ken Furakawa, Yutaka MD, explains, "As one of the first Japanese food businesses to be based in the UK, weve learnt to understand the British palate over the 38 years weve been here. We know that people in this country enjoy spicy, hot food, but not nearly as hot as other countries in the world."

Yutakas new Wasabi Peas are available in 100g packs and are perfect as a crunchy alternative snack to more traditional crisps and nuts.
