The Dutch company Verbruggen visited Panjin City in Liaoning Province on September 5th to organize a social activity. Dutch government representatives, Chinese cooperative partners and other relevant Chinese parties all joined in with enthusiasm. Verbruggen set up their activity at Yihai Kerry Co., Ltd., a company that already utilizes Verbruggens automated palletizer. This allowed participants to take a look at the actual machinery in action. "The Netherlands Business Support Offices hosted this activity and took the opportunity to emphasize and strengthen Sino-Dutch trade cooperation in a speech. Afterwards, Verbruggen employees introduced their machinery. They explained the strong points of the machinery and the ways in which automated palletizers can impact Chinese industry." This is according to Ning Fan of Verbruggen.

"For example, we have already noticed immense differences when we researched the potato harvest in the Netherlands and China. The bulk of the potato harvest and packaging in China is done by hand, which requires a large labor force. In the Netherlands, the potato industry is more mature and each stage of production has been mechanized and fully automated. The participants during this activity were amazed by the operation results of our machinery and the possibilities. Afterwards, they expressed great interest. Many fruit and vegetable packaging factories utilize robotic arms that are not suitable for the packaging of potatoes and onions, because the product size and shape is irregular. The robotic arms can not grasp them properly. Our machinery, however, can handle these irregular products as well. The utilization of our machinery could significantly alter Chinese harvesting and packaging methods."

"Another important aspect of our machinery is the level of automation, which is much higher in the Netherlands than it is in other countries. Dutch machinery guarantees Dutch quality and standardization. Our pallets are standardized, our trucks are standardized and our distribution flow employs a high degree of artificial intelligence. During our demonstration in China we showed how our machinery handles different types of packaging products. Many of our customers use our machinery to stack fruit and vegetables. We hope to benefit more people with our knowledge and machinery."
